Family Fun: 25 Days of Christmas - Days 1 & 2 {North Pole Breakfast and Tree Trimming}

Every year the girls and I do a 25 Day Countdown to Christmas. For the last couple years our countdown has started with our Elf returning with a North Pole breakfast. This year we had so much family in town for Thanksgiving that I didn't have as much time to prepare. But it turned out great using tons of Christmas stuff I had in storage. Our Elf returned with a letter for the girls.



Ryen decided our Elf is a boy this year and his name is Olaf (after the snowman in Frozen)



They loved their breakfast which included snowman donuts, frosted donuts, apples, cereal. milk and hot chocolate.


Next Nana and Grandpa read the Elf on the Shelf book for us.



Then we snuggled in front of the fire and watched The Elf on the Shelf Christmas special on the TV.


Fun way to kick off the countdown! Today for Day 2 of our countdown we trimmed our tree.
